Lincoln Neighborhood Alliance

The Lincoln Neighborhood Alliance is a group that allows for neighborhood associations to collaborate, socialize, and work on local issues in a single space. One of our own board members is currently organizing the inaugural meeting of LNKNA since it was last active. It will be a great way to get involved with neighborhood politics, as well as keep up with what is going on in our communities!

Annual Members’ Meeting

On Tuesday, October 1, at 7 PM, Irvingdale Neighborhood Assocation will be hosting its annual members’ meeting. During this meeting, members will elect board members and officers, we will review the events for the past year, and there will be a potluck.

If you are interested in getting involved with the Assocation, either as a board member or a volunteer, this is an excellent opportunity for an overview of what the neighborhood association can do for you, and what you can do for our neighborhood.

Board applications will be accepted via board@irvingdale.org.

Loren Eiseley 107th Birthday Reading

On Saturday, September 7th, from 11-12, there will be a community reading of the works of Loren Eiseley at Irvingdale Park, near the bridge between the pool and tennis courts. The event will be put on by the Eiseley Society, who have been supporters of the renovations to Irvigdale Park, and have installed a plaque for one of the park benches, and will be revealing a new historical site monument in the park to dedicate Loren Eiseley’s contributions to our community and to the state.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a piece of his writing to read, but listeners are welcome to enjoy the readings.
